For example, air compressors can be some of the largest consumers of power in these facilities. With a few adjustments, air compressors can operate at peak pressure only when it is required. Fixing leaks and preventing new ones from occurring are also good ways to improve the efficiency of your piping system. Although this will likely require the help of a third party, it will save you money, since a quarter-inch air leak at 100 psi could incur more than $2,500 a year in unnecessary costs.

Creating a workplace culture that values energy conservation also encourages employees at all levels to be aware of how their actions impact the company.
